Job Description & How to Apply Below

A well-regarded care provider in the Birmingham area is on the hunt for a Registered Manager who can lead from the front. This is a service with strong foundations and a loyal staff group already in place - what they need now is someone who'll bring energy, structure and genuine care leadership to keep raising the bar.

The Role Itself

You'll be the person accountable for how the service runs, day in and day out. That covers:

  • Holding overall responsibility for compliance, quality, and the general running of the service.
  • Leading, coaching and developing the team so they consistently deliver strong, person-centred care.
  • Making sure care plans are meaningful and specific to each individual, not generic paperwork.
  • Handling recruitment, induction, supervision and staff appraisals.
  • Running the audit and quality assurance process, and reporting clearly to the wider organisation.
  • Being the main point of contact for families, commissioners and other professionals involved in someone's care.
  • Owning safeguarding practice and making sure the whole team takes it seriously.
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with other managers in the organisation.
Profil
  • Current or recent experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • A genuinely solid understanding of CQC standards and how inspections work in practice.
  • Someone who can lead a team with warmth but also hold people to a high standard.
  • A full UK driving licence would help.
A Bonus If You Have
  • Experience turning around a service's CQC rating, or steering it through a period of change.
  • A background in residential care, domiciliary care, learning disability or mental health services.

Every application is treated with complete confidentiality.

  • Company pension scheme.
  • Solid training programme and real routes for progression.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Company events and additional staff perks.
