We’re looking for a Patient Access Manager to join our team at The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham, as part of the UK’s largest private healthcare provider. You will lead the management and development of high‑quality, patient‑centric services, maximize revenue capture, and support the Hospital’s Business Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the patient access experience by providing a world‑class service and seamless patient journey.
- Overall management of the Facility Revenue Cycle to ensure maximum revenue capture.
- Recruit, appraise, and develop the Patient Access Leaders within each team.
- Develop and implement strategies alongside the Facility Senior Management Team.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory procedures, including audit requirements.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all Hospital procedures and policies related to Patient Access and communicate changes effectively.
- Build, maintain, and develop effective working relationships with all service users.
- Monitor, control, and manage expenditure; participate in preparing the department’s annual budget.
- Management and administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, including empathy, persuasion, and influence.
- Professional skills including reliability, work ethic, and workplace etiquette.
- Problem‑solving ability and high emotional intelligence.
