Facilities Manager

Bruntwood is a UK commercial property specialist with a focus on creating vibrant communities. We are looking for multiple Facilities Managers for the Birmingham City Centre cluster to work with our Customer Experience Managers and lead a team in maintaining high standards across our buildings.

Working closely with a Customer Experience Manager, the Facilities Manager will own the hard services of a building cluster, guide projects, mobilise buildings and schedule/planned maintenance. The role also involves supporting, managing and developing a maintenance team.

• Experienced in Facilities Management, preferably across multiple buildings
• Inspirational leader with experience developing teams
• Collaborative and communicative, building strong relationships with colleagues, contractors and suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple projects, proactively anticipating events and reacting swiftly when necessary
• Experience managing contractors and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes
• Compliance conscious, with knowledge of health & safety best practice
• Passion for customer experience and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
• Experience in building mobilisation a plus

• Drive maintenance delivery to achieve exceptional standards across the building cluster
• Lead and develop a motivated team of Facilities Team Members, ensuring first‑time fixes
• Account for all works, coordinate contractors, review RAMs and permits, and attend pre‑start and progress meetings
• Handle customer‑reported maintenance, carry out PPM checks, follow up on remedial works and escalated issues
• Maintain compliance and safety, including fire risk management, meeting legal and statutory obligations
