Vehicle Build Team Leader

We are looking for a Vehicle Build Team Leader to lead and coordinate a team of Vehicle Technicians supporting an automotive programme from pre-production through to series production, within the new Birmingham-based Car Build facility. Responsible for the safety, efficiency, and quality of vehicle build activities. Overseeing vehicle assembly, modification, rework, and rectification activities while ensuring programme timing and quality requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of Vehicle Technicians and Operatives across pre-production and production vehicle build activities.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily work activities to ensure build schedules and programme timing targets are achieved.
• Ensure vehicle assembly, disassembly, modification, rework, and refit activities are completed to the required quality and engineering standards.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to technicians during build, investigation, rectification, and engineering change activities.
• Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with the build documentation, and work instructions.
