Ecology Team Lead

Location: Birmingham
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Our client, an established environmental consultancy, is looking to appoint an experienced Ecology Team Lead to take responsibility for the management and continued development of their Birmingham-based ecology team.

This is a senior position combining people management, project oversight, commercial responsibility and client development. You will have the opportunity to influence how the regional team grows while remaining involved in the delivery of key ecological projects.

The position would suit an experienced Principal or Associate-level Ecologist looking for greater responsibility over a team, its workload and its future development.

• Lead and develop a team of ecology professionals within the Birmingham region.
• Oversee workloads, project priorities and resource requirements.
• Support the successful commercial and technical delivery of ecology projects.
• Provide senior project management input across larger or more complex commissions.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and other members of the ecology team.
• Identify recruitment requirements and support the continued growth of the team.
