Finance Director

Reed Finance is supporting a major Scottish public sector organisation in the appointment of a Director of Finance . Reporting to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the Finance and Procurement functions, overseeing a budget of approximately £500m and providing strategic financial leadership across a complex, high-profile organisation.

Key Responsibilities Lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting and budgeting. Oversee statutory accounts, audit and regulatory compliance. Ensure robust financial governance, controls and risk management. Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and key external stakeholders. Lead Finance and Procurement teams and support organisational transformation initiatives. About You You will be a proven senior finance leader with:
Significant experience operating at Director, CFO or equivalent level. Strong technical accounting, governance and financial planning expertise. Experience managing large-scale budgets within a complex environment. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. A track record of leading teams and delivering organisational change.
