Are you an experienced Event Project Director ready to lead large-scale, high-budget global events for a premier events and internal communications agency?

This is a key leadership role within the business, taking full ownership of major client accounts, managing multidisciplinary project teams, and overseeing end-to-end delivery of high-impact corporate events, film, and creative content.

As Project Director, you will take full operational and financial control of complex, high-budget event projects—both across the UK and internationally. You will work alongside client services and creative teams to drive operational excellence, inspire engagement, and exceed client expectations at every step.

• End-to-End Project Leadership: Oversee all production, technical, logistics, delegate management, and supplier delivery for large-scale events.
• Team & Line Management: Direct, support, and mentor a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, driving team performance and development.
• Content Strategy & Execution: Guide the execution of event content, video/film, creative assets, and live presentations in line with client strategy.
• Financial Oversight: Manage full project budgets to target margins, maintaining weekly WIP updates, cash flow positivity, and post-event reconciliations.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain operational standards including ISO 9001 compliance, GDPR protocols, and comprehensive Health & Safety / Risk Assessments.
• Agency Growth: Assist account teams with pitch creative, proposals, and new business opportunities when required.

  Extensive background delivering live events and internal comms within an event agency environment

• Proven Track Record: At least 6+ years of event management experience
  , with proven expertise in running large-scale and international high-budget events.

  Essential line-management experience with the ability to resource, inspire, and develop project teams.
• Creative & Production Savvy: Solid experience managing content, film, digital assets, and full technical production elements.
• Commercial Acumen: Robust budget management skills with a thorough understanding of project profitability.
• Logistics: Full UK driving licence and access to a car (due to the Alcester office location).
