. NRS specialises in aggregates supply, waste management and haulage services throughout the Midlands. The role is based at several of our quarries in the Midlands.

Job Type: Permanent

• General duties around the quarry and in the main yard
• Grass cutting
• Emptying bins
• Keeping the main yard tidy
• Keeping the workshop tidy
• Assessing stocks of Oil and Ad blue
• Operating Telehandler (training can be provided)
• Cleaning windows
• Cleaning spillages from around the processing plant
• Maintaining the weighbridge deck and keeping it free from spillage
• Litter picking
• Fence and stone wall maintenance
• Ad hoc duties

• Ability to work on own initiative and take direction from quarry management
• Ability to prioritise workload so all work is completed in a timely manner that suits the quarry operations
• Hardworking and proactive approach to tasks to ensure quarry operations continue smoothly
• Operations certification for telescopic handler or forklift truck operations is desirable
• Good manual handling skills
• Knowledge of following written risk assessments and method statements is desirable
• Previous quarry experience is an advantage
• Full UK driving licence required
