💷 Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced Fabrication Welder to join a well-established and reputable operation in Birmingham. This is a hands‑on role ideal for a skilled welder with a strong engineering background who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- MIG and TIG welding
- Stick welding
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Fabrication of components to a high standard
- Maintaining quality, safety, and workshop standards at all times
- Minimum 5 years' welding experience (preferred)
- Strong engineering background
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
