About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to run CNC machines and develop CAM programs to produce high-quality, precision components. The role involves machine setup, programming, and inspection within a busy machine shop environment.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

Create, develop, and prove CNC programs to produce consistently accurate parts
Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs, including manned and unmanned operation
Work from customer drawings and specifications, maintaining tight tolerances
Carry out routine machine maintenance checks and complete required records
Report tooling requirements and suggest tooling or process improvements
Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams, providing input for SOPsAbout you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

Experience in CNC machining and CAM programming – Preferably Hurco and Edgecam.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Experience collaborating with engineering teams
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
