CNC Miller Programmer​/Setter​/Operator

Position: CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator
Mazco Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern 3 and 5 Axis machining centres producing high-precision components across a variety of industries.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Programming, setting, and operating 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines

* Working with Heidenhain controls

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Producing high precision components to tight tolerances

* Selecting tooling and setting machine parameters

* Inspecting finished components using manual measuring equipment

* Ensuring machines are running efficiently and safely

* Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping

Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator

* Strong experience with Heidenhain controls

* Experience with 3 Axis and 5 Axis machining

* Ability to read technical drawings

* Experience working to tight tolerances

* Good understanding of tooling and machining strategies
