Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Time served or apprentice trained candidates welcome to apply. £56,759.04 + overtime. 4 on 4 off shift pattern with AMAZING BENEFITS!

Working for a worldwide well-known brand in North Birmingham, the company manufactures niche products in a heavy industrial setting.

• Complete permits to work and risk assessments, assessing all risks involved in the work to be undertaken
• Ensure safe systems of work are applied, adhered to and followed out consistently
• Support and achieve Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and Plant improvements
• Lead improvement initiatives, installation projects, statutory inspections, factory services and other duties required to ensure plant safety, performance, improvement and operation
• Experience in heavy motorised and hydraulic plant operations; experience of rolling mills, extrusions, moulding or press shop would be highly regarded
• Supervision of external contractors and service providers
• Interact with all stakeholders at any level within the business to resolve equipment & site related issues
• Be a point of contact for internal customers to resolve plant, equipment and safety issues & provide technical support
• Interact with external bodies, suppliers and contractors to achieve the above
• Ensure critical spares are available and stock levels are maintained on consumption
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship

• Time served or apprentice trained candidates welcomed to apply
• Experience in heavy motorised and hydraulic plant operations; knowledge of rolling mills/extrusions/moulding or press shop is valuable
• Ability to supervise external contractors and service providers
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels

The salary on offer is £56,759.04 + overtime, with enhanced pension, access to occupational health and a physiotherapist.

Working continental shifts, 4 on 4 off: 2 x 12 hour days (6am – 6pm) and 2 x 12 hour nights (6pm – 6am).
