Packaging Technologist – Drinks

A well-established drinks specialist is looking to appoint a packaging technologist to provide technical support and assistance to the business.

The role involves coordinating the investigation and follow‑up of packaging non‑conformances, performing audits of packaging suppliers’ manufacturing facilities and quality systems, and ensuring that all packaging meets its specifications and functional requirements.

Candidates must have a proven track record of successfully working with packaging materials from a technical viewpoint, advising clients on packaging improvements, developments, and legislative/regulatory requirements related to finished product packaging.

Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Experience in liaising with engineering to determine downtime causes and assisting sales/marketing to develop customer‑specific packaging solutions is required.
