Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well‑known Fabrication & Welding company, in their search for a Plater/Welder to work in their workshop based in Wem.
- £14.44 Per Hour – Reviewed after 3 months
- Opportunity for overtime
- Basic factory opening hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30‑4:30, with a 12:30 finish on Fridays. - 29 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Company pension
- Free parking
- Read, interpret, and work with engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working on one‑off pieces and other small batch work.
- Use measuring equipment.
- Perform work in accordance with the company’s health and safety procedures.
- Be highly motivated.
- Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept clean and orderly.
- Experience in welding and fabrication – Essential.
- Experience of working from engineering drawings – Essential.
