Shift Coordinator Wanted!

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of an automotive company based in South Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Coordinator to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Assist and manage the direction of the shift to achieve production targets and customer requirements.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, prioritising tasks and following through to completion.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and maintain consistency with other Shift Coordinators.
• Input and analyse production, quality, and plant performance data.
• Promote and respond to Health & Safety issues, near misses, and accidents.
• Provide cover for the Shift Coordinator during absence.

• Previous experience in a management/supervisor position (automotive industry desirable).
• At least 3 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work in a leadership team and delegate staff.

• 14:00-22:00
• Monday-Friday

• £14.47 per hour
