CNC Turner

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a family-run subcontract CNC machining company, based in Perry Barr, Birmingham , who are currently looking for a CNC Turner to join their team. We are looking for either a Setter/Operator , or a Programmer/Setter/Operator . The company is a small, family-run firm who provide both CNC turning and CNC milling services to lots of different industries, including Aerospace, Medical, Motorsport, and Automotive.

They have capacity to provide anything from one-offs and prototypes, to long production runs. We are looking for a CNC Turner to join their team on a morning shift , on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for running a 2-axis CNC lathe, setting up jobs and changing tooling, adjusting speeds and feeds, and making edits/adjustments to programs.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thurday (6am - 2pm) and Friday (6am - 1pm) Pay:
Anywhere from £16.00 to £18.50 per hour (Depending on experience) Overtime:
