About the Role:
Our client, a well-established business based in Wythall, Birmingham, is currently looking to recruit a Trainee Wood Machinist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in woodworking and machining, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the operation of wood machining equipment
• Preparing and handling timber materials
• Learning to set up and operate a range of woodworking machinery
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Some experience working with timber or in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
