Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defence industry. At our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the aerospace industry. An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to hire a Hydro‑Mechanical Technician to support our continued growth onsite.
Whatyou will do
- Disassemble, evaluate, assemble and test electronic engine control systems in accordance with relevant customer, design and quality procedures meeting all customer specifications and expectations.
- Meet turnaround time and output targets by adopting a flexible approach within the team and carrying out all tasks directly impacting turnaround time, including document processing and product conformance/release.
- Apply appropriate quality assurance techniques and accept responsibility for individual and team standards.
- Actively participate in CORE and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Assist, through training, in the development of colleagues.
- Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards, IT systems and planning schedules.

- Electronics experience and qualifications (HNC, HND).
- Experience in a high‑technology electronics engineering business.
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach.

- Previous experience or willingness to work a night shift pattern.
