About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Machinist Apprentice to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in precision engineering and wants to develop a rewarding career while gaining nationally recognised qualifications.

Working alongside experienced machinists, you will learn how to set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality precision components for a range of industries.

• CNC milling and turning operations
• Machine set-up and tooling
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Quality inspection using precision measuring equipment
• Health and safety in a manufacturing environment
• Preventative machine maintenance and housekeeping

• A genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English grade C or above.
