Job Overview
Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator for a top-tier steel processing company in the Aston area of Birmingham, permanent contract.
Responsibilities- Operate overhead cranes to move steel coils around the workplace
- Handle steel coils
- Drive counterbalance forklift trucks
- Work in dispatch, loading and unloading vehicles
- Prepare orders and receive deliveries
- Band processed coils
- Perform other duties as required
- Overhead crane operator with steel industry experience
7:30am – 4:15pm Monday to Thursday, finish 1:00pm Friday (38.5 hours per week)
Pay£13.49 per hour
