Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom – Collins Aerospace MRO Facility, Marston Green.
Position: Electronics Technician – Onsite.
At our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.
Responsibilities- Disassemble, evaluate, assemble and test electronic engine control systems in accordance with relevant customer, design and quality procedures meeting all customer specifications and expectations
- Meet turn around time and output targets by adopting a flexible approach within the team and carrying out all tasks directly impacting upon turn around time including document processing and product conformance/release
- Apply appropriate quality assurance techniques and accept responsibility for individual and team standards
- Actively participate in CORE and Continuous Improvement activities
- Assist, through training, in the development of colleagues
- Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards/IT systems and planning schedules
- On Time Delivery (OTD)

Night Shift –
Hours:
9:30PM - 6:30AM, Monday-Thursday with Fridays off

- Experience:
Industry specifics/insights, practical/hands-on skills that will be gained, exposure to the latest tools and technologies in the industry
- Electronics experience and qualifications (HNC, HND)
- Experience in a high-technology Electronics engineering business
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Team working mentality
- High levels of motivation
- Previous experience or a willingness to work shift patterns – essential
