This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled assembler with experience in precision mechanical assembly and automotive components. You will be joining a highly experienced production team assembling high-quality steering and braking systems to exact engineering standards.

As a Steering Rack Assembler, your duties will include:

• Assembling complex mechanical components using engineering drawings and specifications
• Building and fitting:
  • Power steering units
  • Steering racks
  • Brake calipers
  • Pump assemblies
• Completing both sub-assembly and full-build assembly work
• Using hand tools, torque tools, and precision measuring equipment
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet required tolerances and standards
• Identifying and reporting faults or defects
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
