Screen Printer

We are looking for a Screen Printer for a permanent position based with our client in Birmingham.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Salary is £26,436.80 per annum, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 11:30am

To produce high-quality printed products using manual and semi-automatic screen-printing equipment, ensuring all work meets customer specifications, company quality standards and production deadlines.

The successful candidate will work across a range of printed products including industrial nameplates, labels, decals, signs and bespoke printed components for customers within sectors including aerospace, automotive and manufacturing. This client prints onto a wide range of metal and plastic substrates using semi-automatic screen-printing equipment and maintains AS9100 and ISO
9001 quality standards.

• Previous experience within screen printing or print production.
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent colour recognition.
• Ability to read production paperwork and work instructions.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

• Experience operating semi-automatic screen-printing machines.
• Experience with in industrial screen printing.
• Experience printing onto metal and plastic substrates.
• Knowledge of quality systems.
• Experience with in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of colour matching.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
