Hourly We are currently recruiting for a skilled Panel Wirer on behalf of a well-established manufacturer serving the Defence, Industrial, Aviation, Rail, Medical, Scientific, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Based at their Birmingham production facility, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of a range of electrical products, from lighting systems through to complex control and distribution panels.

Key Responsibilities:

Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and cabinets Point-to-point wiring and cable routing

Crimping, terminating, and soldering cables and components

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and GA drawings

Mechanical and electrical assembly work Working to high quality and safety standards

Supporting testing and fault-finding activities where required

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in panel wiring or control panel assembly

Experience with cable termination, crimping, and soldering

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Experience with point-to-point wiring and cable routing

Ability to work independently and deliver work to specification

Desirable:

IPC Class 3 / IPC 620 experience

Prototype or development wiring experience

Basic electrical testing experience

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00

Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
