As an Experienced Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, refinishing and painting accident-damaged vehicles to a high-quality manufacturer and industry standard. Your multi-skilled approach will allow you to contribute across the preparation and paint process while working closely with the wider bodyshop team to maintain efficient vehicle throughput.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles and panels for paint, including sanding, filling, masking and priming
- Mix and apply modern automotive paint systems accurately and efficiently
- Carry out full and partial resprays, colour matching, blending and refinishing
- Complete polishing and final finishing to achieve a high-quality factory finish
- Inspect completed repairs and rectify paint defects or imperfections where required
- Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians, Preppers and Workshop Controllers
- Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining exceptional workmanship
- Follow manufacturer repair methods, bodyshop quality standards, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
