Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machinist with strong Ancillary Equipment experience to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of specialized manual and CNC ancillary machines to ensure precision quality across our product lines.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

* Horizontal Broaching:
Set up and operate horizontal broaching machines for internal and external keyways/splines.

* Vertical Key Seating & Slotting:
Hands-on operation and setup of both Manual and CNC key seating and slotting machines.

* Drilling & Tapping:
Perform precise manual and semi-automated drilling and tapping operations using:

* Bench Drills

* Archdale Radial Arm Drills

* Herbert Drilling Machines

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience operating ancillary machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong ability to work with technical drawings and hold close tolerances.

* Knowledge of standard workshop safety protocols and quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, plug gauges).

* Good communication skills and a team-first mindset.
