Machine Operative

Location: Aston, Birmingham
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm
Overtime: Weekends and overtime available at premium rates

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Aston, Birmingham
, producing high-quality rugs.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous machine-operating or manufacturing experience who is looking to learn new skills. You don’t need extensive experience with print or cutting machinery, as full training will be provided
.

You will be working with industrial machinery as part of the rug manufacturing process, including:

• Operating an industrial print machine
  .
• Operating an industrial CNC guillotine cutting machine
  .
• Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
• Setting and checking machine controls where required.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required specification.
  
  Following production procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Some previous experience working with machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating machinery is essential;
  CNC experience would be advantageous
  .
• A good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Good reliability and attendance.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• A flexible approach to working hours.

You do not need extensive experience with print or CNC guillotine machinery – full training will be provided.

There are two fixed shift options available:

• 6:00am – 2:30pm
• 2:00pm – 10:30pm

• £13.45 per hour
• Monday to Friday, full-time hours
