Factory Operative - Birmingham (B5)

£12.71 per hour | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm

We're recruiting a Factory Operative to join a busy production site in Birmingham (B5). This is a hands-on role supporting key areas of the factory, with full training and shadowing provided initially.

What you'll be doing

Support factory operations across production areas
Manage and handle metals safely in line with company procedures
Mix chemicals following strict guidelines and safety instructions
Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including general factory cleaning
Passivation, Pickling, Polishing metal
Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
Work alongside and shadow experienced team members initially, progressing to working independently
Assist with any other general operative tasks as required

What we're looking for

You must have experience in at least one of the following:

Pickling
Passivating
Decanting chemicals
Polishing metal
Electroplating

Starting pay: £12.71 per hour
Stable weekday hours: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Birmingham B5 location
