Manufactoring Operative

Siamo Group are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates with experience in surface preparation, filling, sanding and using mechanical and hand-held tools.

Please note:

This role is based in a remote location with limited public transport access. Candidates must have their own reliable transport to travel to and from the site.

Key Responsibilities Filling holes, gaps and imperfections in products to prepare surfaces for finishing Using mechanical sanding machines and other sanding equipment to smooth and prepare surfaces Operating a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively Carrying out general finishing and preparation work to a high standard Inspecting surfaces to ensure work meets required quality standards Following instructions and job specifications accurately Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines Requirements Previous experience within manufacturing, production, construction, joinery, finishing or a similar hands-on environment is preferred Experience using sanding machines, mechanical aids, power tools or hand tools is desirable Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Physically capable of carrying out a hands-on role Reliable, punctual and hardworking Due to the remote location of the site, own reliable transport is essential Working Hours Monday to Friday 07:30am 4:00pm Benefits Full-time ongoing work Monday to Friday schedule Supportive working environment Opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate INDHON
