Spray Cell Operative

Spray Cell Operative Permanent | Wolverhampton (i54) | Production | 40 Hours Per Week | Rotating Shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Apply every coating with care. Maintain exceptional standards. Keep production moving. We are looking for a Spray Cell Operative to join our Production team at our i54 site. You’ll be helping to achieve a consistently high-quality finish before products move to the Kilns department.

Working closely with production colleagues and management, you’ll complete quality and process checks, accurately record production information and quickly raise any safety, quality or production concerns. Your contribution will help us maintain high standards, achieve production targets and keep our manufacturing process running efficiently. What You Will Be Responsible For Spraying & Product Finishing Apply engobe undercoat or glaze paint to ceramic sinks in line with agreed standards.

Follow the correct spraying process to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish. Handle products carefully throughout the spraying and movement process. Ensure products meet the required standard before progressing to Kilns. Process, Quality & Safety Follow standard operating procedures and complete all required process and quality checks. Accurately record production information on the required documentation. Identify and report material defects, equipment concerns or quality issues promptly.

Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the correct personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Return equipment to its designated area at the end of each shift. Production & Teamwork Work efficiently to achieve agreed production volume and quality targets. Organise activities effectively to manage production priorities. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and complete actions within required timescales.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared production objectives. Communicate production issues clearly and promptly. Support the wider Production team when required. Undertake training to develop your skills and knowledge across Production and other departments. For This Role We Would Need You To Demonstrate The ability to manage tasks and competing priorities effectively. Clear written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a production team.

A reliable and dependable approach to completing responsibilities. It Would Also Be Beneficial If You Have Previous experience in a spraying role.

Experience with in a production or manufacturing environment. Experience applying undercoats, glazes or other product finishes. An understanding of quality standards within a volume-led production environment.
