Location: Birmingham, Office-based
Contract: Full time, permanent contract (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: up to £34,000 depending on experience

Role OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Senior Content & Social Media Executive to create, manage and deliver engaging content across email, web, blog and social media platforms.
This role combines hands‑on content creation with day‑to‑day social media management, whilst playing an active role in campaign planning, content strategy and performance analysis. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong content and social media experience who is looking to take ownership, bring fresh ideas and make a visible impact within a growing eCommerce business.
Working closely with the Head of Brand & Content, you will help drive engagement, grow audiences and ensure our brands continue to deliver high‑quality, relevant content across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Write and edit engaging content for email, social media, website and blog channels.
- Create, schedule and manage social media content across multiple platforms.
- Own day‑to‑day social media management, including community engagement and audience interaction.
- Support content strategy development and campaign execution alongside the Head of Brand & Content.
- Manage and maintain content calendars across multiple channels.
- Monitor, analyse and report on content and social media performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Identify content opportunities and stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance and Product teams to ensure content is accurate, engaging and compliant.
- Support wider brand, content and marketing initiatives as required.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years' experience in content marketing, social media management or a similar digital marketing role.
- Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating and managing content calendars.
- Experience managing business social media accounts and growing audience engagement.
- Strong understanding of content performance metrics and social media analytics.
- Confident creating content across written, image and video formats.
- Experience with photography, video editing and content creation tools.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools would be advantageous.
- Experience with in ecommerce, retail or another commercially focused environment would be beneficial.
- Be the voice of market‑leading UK brands across digital channels.
- Work on a mix of content creation, social media management and marketing campaigns.
