Role Purpose andKey Responsibilities
This is a key role within our Experience Operations function, supporting the delivery of our new social media strategy. With a strong focus on brand awareness, reach, engagement and member value, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders to create engaging content and support the effective governance of our social media platforms.
You will produce high-quality multimedia content for our core social media channels and internal community platform, while helping to develop content themes and creative approaches for new and emerging channels.
As part of the Channels Operations team, you will work alongside paid media and email specialists to provide a joined-up experience for our global network of surveying professionals.
As a Social and Community Executive, you will:
- Manage and publish content across RICS social media channels and the MyRICS community platform
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of social media campaigns aligned to key organisational priorities
- Create and coordinate engaging content that resonates with members and wider audiences
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to source, develop and promote content opportunities
- Monitor social media and community channels, responding to comments and queries in a timely and professional manner
- Help grow and engage online communities by encouraging meaningful participation and discussion
- Support the day-to-day management and moderation of the MyRICS community platform
- Analyse channel performance and provide insights to help optimise content and engagement
- Ensure all content reflects the RICS brand, tone of voice and communications standards
- Promote events, campaigns, training and member benefits to increase awareness and engagement

You’ll bring:
- Proven experience developing, creating and delivering social media content and campaigns
- Experience using social media management tools to create, schedule and publish content across multiple channels
- Experience using reporting and analytics tools to measure performance, identify trends and recommend improvements
- Experience engaging and growing online audiences for an established brand
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
