This post is for a Band 4 Nurse Associate. Newly-qualified Nurse Associates are welcomed and supported with induction, development and career progression opportunities.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our community nursing team based at Swan Team and cover patients in the East Locality.
The Nurse Associate will deliver high-quality, holistic, compassionate and fundamental patient and client care as part of the nursing team under the direction of a registered nurse.
We welcome your clinical skills, holistic thinking and ability to collaborate with the wider multi-professional team to shape care for our patients. We are looking for a Nursing Associate with a breadth of knowledge across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person‑centred care and support for people of all ages in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will work independently within the sphere of nursing under the leadership of registered nurses.
You must have completed the Nurse Associate qualification and be on the NMC register, or be due to qualify in the next two months.
As the service is a fast-paced community nursing team, we need Nurse Associates who think independently, make decisions and bridge our Health Care Assistants and registered nurses. You will work independently in people’s homes and clinic settings, delivering care planned and evaluated by our registered nurses. You must be confident in your own decision‑making and ready to make a difference. You will need to drive.
ServiceHours
The service currently operates between 8am and 6pm, seven days a week.
This post requires a full driving licence and a car available for work.
