About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Clare Court Care Home in Birmingham, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensure high standards of care for residents.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressing, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
  • Deploy and supervise staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
  • Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
Qualifications
  • Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post‑basic studies/qualifications.
  • Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
  • Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
Additional Requirements
  • ADBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
