Job SummaryMental Health Nurse (PICU) with 6‑12 months post registration experience. Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, site based. Working nights only. This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
What you'll be doingYou will join the team on the PICU unit to support patient recovery, delivering tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
What you'll bring to the roleEssential
- Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with mental health designation.
- Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional practice.
- Evidence of post‑registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
