Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Registered Nurse – Clare Court Care Home, Birmingham. Duties include caring for residents, medication administration, dressing changes, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required.
• Undertake nursing tasks: distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advise families and GPs of any changes in condition.
• Supervise and deploy staff to ensure tasks are completed and residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.

• First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years experience and up-to-date knowledge of care.
• Relevant post‑basic studies or qualification.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Employment will require an ADBS Disclosure check – cost paid by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
