Mental Health Nurse
Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high‑quality, clinically led care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of dementia, mental health conditions and complex needs.
Assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication, and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions, and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring safe, effective and person‑centred care at all times. Work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, use your clinical judgement to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well‑organised, structured and supportive environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.
Qualifications& Experience
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
- Minimum of 2 years post‑registration nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgement and decision‑making skills
- Confidence leading shifts and supporting a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in complex care, dementia or mental health is beneficial
- A professional, compassionate and proactive approach to care

- £20.80 per hour
- Contracted to 40.25 hours per week, day shift
- Paid NMC registration, DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract)
