The Role
As a Registered General Nurse with iCare
24, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care while promoting patients' dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised nursing care plans.
* Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed care plans and relevant policies.
* Monitor patients' health conditions and respond appropriately to changes in their clinical needs.
* Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records.
* Carry out clinical observations and escalate concerns promptly.
* Provide wound care and other nursing interventions within your competence.
* Promote infection prevention and control at all times.
* Support patients with their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
* Work effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements, and professional standards.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the principles of dignity, respect, and equality.
About You
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care and making a positive difference every day.
Essential Requirements:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
* Relevant nursing qualifications.
* Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills.
* The ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* A professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends, where required.
Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting is desirable. Candidates should be confident delivering nursing care and escalating clinical concerns appropriately.
