Our Your Vets practice in Olton, Solihull, welcomes an aspiring Vet to join as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. Established in 2007, we provide high‑quality veterinary care with specialist equipment and a dedicated team.

This full‑time position runs 32–40 hours per week, structured as a 4‑day week with a 1‑in‑4 weekend rota. Shift patterns cover Hospital Inpatients, Consulting & Operating.

Part of this role will involve working closely with the team on a day‑to‑day basis, providing clinical support, guidance and a sounding board for case discussions. You will be part of a group of 30 FTE Vets across five practices, giving opportunities for clinical progression.

We are looking for a highly motivated veterinary surgeon who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

• Provide clinical care and surgery for small animals.
• Participate in hospital inpatient and outpatient services.
• Offer consulting and operating support as required.
• Provide day‑to‑day clinical guidance and mentorship.
• Support team collaboration and case discussions.

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with relevant experience.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in small animal practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekend rota.

• Annual salary up to £55k, depending on experience.
• Up to 7 weeks annual leave with buy‑sell scheme.
