We are recruiting on behalf of a modern mixed veterinary practice in County Cork
, just 20 minutes from Cork City and Cork Airport

This is an outstanding opportunity for a new graduate veterinarian who wants to develop their career in both equine and small animal medicine within a supportive and well-equipped practice.

The recently modernised clinic offers:

• Full in-house laboratory
• Digital X-ray
• Small Animal Surgery Suite
• Equine Surgery and Handling Facilities

You will receive structured mentoring from experienced veterinary surgeons while gaining hands‑on experience across a varied mixed caseload.

• Veterinary Degree eligible for VCI registration
• Passion for mixed veterinary practice
• Strong willingness to learn
• Interest in equine medicine and surgery
• Interest in small animal medicine and surgery
• English language proficiency (minimum C1)

• Small animal consultations and preventative medicine
• Equine ambulatory and clinical work
• Routine small animal surgeries including neutering and soft tissue procedures
• Anaesthesia and patient monitoring
• Care of hospitalised patients
• Laboratory diagnostics
• Emergency case management
• Working alongside experienced veterinary surgeons

This internship provides an excellent foundation for veterinarians looking to build confidence and develop their skills in both equine and companion animal practice.
