We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team, ensuring that all medical instruments meet strict standards of cleanliness, functionality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control checks on medical instruments and equipment received from hospitals.
  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, correct assembly, and full functionality.
  • Accurately document QC outcomes and non-conformance reports in line with departmental processes.
  • Manage the quarantine area for non-compliant instruments.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and sterilisation units to resolve quality issues.
  • Report all events relating to instrument condition and processing.
  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain organised, safe, and well-kept work areas and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong observation and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and ISO 13485 compliance.
  • Clear verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven knowledge of instrument handling and identification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile services, medical device decontamination, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Excel, digital systems, and documentation processes.
  • Background in working with strict quality assurance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and reliable quality checks.
