Around £42 an hour, depending on experience Our globally renowned aerospace client is seeking a Quality Management Specialist to support the Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) within Military Aviation Authority approved frameworks. The role is responsible for providing assurance that all CAMO activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal quality systems, ensuring continued airworthiness across supported aircraft programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver independent assurance of CAMO personnel competence, processes, and procedures Ensure compliance of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) with regulatory standards Conduct and support CAMO audit activities across internal teams, maintenance organisations, and subcontractors Monitor adherence to MAA Regulatory Articles (RA ) and MRP Part M requirements Validate procedures, manage changes, and perform product sampling and compliance checks Oversee subcontracted CAMO activities, ensuring clear governance, accountability, and resource control Support assurance of maintenance activities to maintain aircraft airworthiness Facilitate corrective action processes, reporting findings and escalating risks where required

Skills & Experience:

Strong background in CAMO, airworthiness, or aviation quality management Experience conducting audits within regulated aviation environments (e.g. MAA, Part M/145) Knowledge of defence airworthiness regulations and compliance frameworks Ability to manage stakeholder engagement across engineering, maintenance, and delivery teams Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action management Desirable:
Auditor training (AS9100/AS9110) and CAMO regulatory knowledge Understanding of human factors, maintenance standards, and defence audit processes Familiarity with information management tools and lifecycle systems Sadly, sponsorship cannot be offered for this role
