Meet Life Sciences are supporting a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer as they continue to expand their Quality Assurance function and are looking to bring in a QA Officer to support GMP compliance and quality operations across their manufacturing site.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business operating within the specialist medicines space, offering exposure to a broad range of QA activities within a highly regulated environment.

Location: Birmingham, UK

Start Date: ASAP

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Environment: GMP / MHRA-Regulated Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve batch manufacturing and packaging documentation
  • Support deviation investigations
    , CAPA management, and change controls
  • Assist with the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Review, update, and manage SOPs and GMP documentation
  • Support internal audits, supplier audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, QC, and Supply Chain teams to ensure GMP compliance across site operations
  • Support training activities and promote a strong quality culture throughout the business
Requirements
  • Experience working within a Quality Assurance position in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong understanding of GMP principles and pharmaceutical quality systems
  • Experience with deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and document management
  • Ability to work cross-functional and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business
  • Experience with in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specialist medicines, medicinal cannabis, or other regulated manufacturing environments would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
