Quality Inspector

Location: West Midlands

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a 3 month contract, located Midlands.

Role Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our production team, specializing in the inspection of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electrical components. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards prior to installation and conduct thorough checks post-installation to ensure performance reliability and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections of PCBs and electrical components on the production line before they are installed.

• Verify that all components are free from damage, defects, and adhere to technical specifications.

• Perform quality checks once components are installed, ensuring optimum functionality and compliance with standards.

• Document and report any quality issues found during inspections and follow up on corrective actions.

• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

• Utilize various measurement and inspection tools to assess product quality accurately.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in an electronics or manufacturing environment, specifically with PCBs and electrical components.

• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.

• Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.

• Attention to detail and a thorough approach to quality checks.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
