Grill Chef

Position: Grill Chef (Permanent)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

* Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to recipes and quality standards

* Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas

* Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results

* Serve food promptly and professionally to customers or front-of-house staff

* Follow health and safety regulations to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen

* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Skills

* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment

* Expertise in Steak

* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices

* Excellent skills in meal preparation and grilling techniques

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting

* Good organisational skills with attention to detail

* Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary training is advantageous

* Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills

* Serving experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is important
