Food & Beverage Assistant

Hours of work

Part-time, weekdays.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, approx. 15 hours.

Occasionally, available to work some extra hours to cover annual and sickness leave.

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant to join our welcoming café team. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for food and hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.

• Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Taking food and drink orders accurately.
• Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages.
• Operating the till and handling payments.
• Keeping the café, dining area, and service stations clean and well organised.
• Assisting with stocking shelves, displays, and replenishing supplies.
• Supporting the Chef to prepare fresh food to a high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Using cooking equipment, utensils and other kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.

• Friendly, approachable, and passionate about customer service.
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Willing to learn and take initiative.
