Vacancy - Trade Counter Sales Assistant / Warehouse Assistant
Location - NW Birmingham
Industry - Lighting and Electrical Wholesaler
Working Hours - Monday to Friday - with weekend hours being negotiable
Salary - Up to circa £32K negotiable + bonuses

Rhodium Consulting is working with a successful and growing lighting and electrical distributor to recruit an internal sales / trade counter sales assistant to join their team.

• Up to £32K salary (negotiable based on hours and experience)
• Performance‑related bonuses
• Monday to Friday working with weekend hours negotiable
• A friendly, supportive, and hardworking team environment

• Serving customers at the trade counter
• Assisting with receipt of deliveries
• Managing customer terms and processing purchase orders
• Using internal systems for orders, enquiries, picking notes, and back orders
• Keeping the warehouse and trade counter organised

• Experience in trade counter sales within the electrical wholesale industry
• Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal)
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
• Customer‑focused with a proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
• A genuine team player with a desire to get the job done

• Reliable, committed, and self‑motivated
• Ambitious and keen to learn and grow
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and solution‑oriented
• Experienced in internal sales or looking to progress from a trade counter role
