Visual Merchandiser

Overview

At Aston Villa Football Club, our Retail and Licensing department plays a vital role in supporting the club's commercial success and fan engagement. We offer a wide variety of high-quality football merchandise and leisurewear to supporters online and in-store, while maintaining a strong connection to our brand and culture.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative department that works collaboratively to bring our fans closer to the Club through products they love.

• Design, implement and maintain window displays, in-store layouts and product placement to maximise product visibility, sales and brand identity, ensuring alignment with the Club's brand and calendars.
• Create a strategic in-store customer journey by developing displays that tell a story and make product discovery intuitive.
• Lead on developing and executing seasonal campaigns and specialist merchandising displays in-store, including exclusive product launches, matchday promotions and in-store promotions.
• Report and analyse the performance of displays and merchandising, providing real-time data to the Retail Store Manager.

• Proven experience in a visual merchandising role, ideally in fashion or sports retail.
• Keen creative and artistic ability with an eye for colour, detail and overall presentation; strong market awareness of visual and retail merchandising techniques and best practice.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail; able to adapt to dynamic situations including changing stock, layouts and customer preferences.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required by the Club.
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle or the ability to travel between Club sites (Villa Park, Bullring, Bodymoor Heath Training Ground).
