Post Office Counter Clerk – 20 Hours (Fixed Term Until 31 August 2026)

Pay
:
We pay in line with UK age‑related minimum and living wage rates – your pay will depend on your age group:

• 18–20: £10.85 per hour
• 21+: £12.71 per hour

Qualifications
:
You must be over the age of 18 and complete a safeguarding check.

Training
: 3‑Day Post Office Counter Training covering Introduction, Processes, Practical Skills & Systems. Training may take place at a different location – flexibility required.

As a Post Office Counter Clerk
, you’ll provide exceptional customer service to connect people, organise travel money and documents, and manage bills and banking.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers
• Manage queues and ensure customers can access services quickly and simply
• Maintain high standards of governance and attention to detail
• Support colleagues as part of a team

• A passion for customers and delivering an exceptional experience in store
