As a Product Development Manager you will be responsible for the development of food products through all stages of the product lifecycle from insight through to product planning, development, specifications, artwork and launch. You will use customer data and insight to inform product and ranging decisions.
Responsibilities- Manage the development and product lifecycle of grocery products under the by Amazon brand, including range architectures and adherence to brand values.
- Set and maintain the highest quality standards while managing the critical path.
- Simplify processes, maintain frugality and deliver results against commercial guardrails while upholding a high quality bar.
- Communicate clearly and manage complex stakeholder relationships, building long‑term relationships with a broad portfolio of vendors.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally on projects requiring strong detail‑oriented execution, problem‑solving drive, and autonomous work.
- Leverage a culinary product development background to understand grocery retail market, food trends, and innovation.
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Development role, including management of adherence to critical paths and brand standards.
- Experience using customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers and drive product decisions.
- Experience working directly in customer implementations and cross‑functionally across multiple teams.
- Extensive experience in the food industry with relevant product development experience.
- Experience developing products through a full product lifecycle.
